Los Robles Health System welcomes homegrown fellow, Dr. Leili Pourafkari

Los Robles Health System is pleased to announce Leili Pourafkari, MD, FACC has joined the Cardiovascular Institute of Los Robles Health System. Dr. Pourafkari is fellowship-trained in cardiovascular disease, with advanced training and expertise in cardiac CT, as well as board certifications in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.

Following her fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at Los Robles Health System, Dr. Pourafkari is now practicing at the hospital she trained at to provide care as a full-time physician. Fellowship training allows physicians to develop highly focused clinical skills, gain experience while treating complex cases and working alongside leaders in their field. Among her highly specialized training, Dr. Pourafkari specializes in the early detection and prevention of heart disease using advanced radiation-free imaging techniques.
